Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between La Leccina Holiday Home (hereinafter referred to as “the Property”) and the client (hereinafter referred to as “the Guest”) regarding the booking and stay at our property.

1. Booking Procedure

Bookings may be made online through our website or other authorized channels. A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation has been sent by the Property and, where required, after payment has been made or credit card details have been provided as a guarantee.

2. Payments and Rates

Rates: Prices are per room per night.
Payment methods: Payments made through the website are accepted by credit card. On-site payments may be made in cash or by bank transfer.

A €300 security deposit is required upon check-in. This will be returned at checkout once the property has been checked for any damages.

3. Cancellation Policy and No-Show

Free Cancellation: Guests may cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellation requests made through the website must be sent by email to laleccinaholidayhome@gmail.com.
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made after the stated deadline are non-refundable.
No-Show: In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

4. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in: From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Late arrivals must be agreed upon in advance.
Check-out: By 10:30 AM on the day of departure.
Identification: Upon arrival, all guests must present a valid ID for mandatory registration with the Public Security Authorities.

5. House Rules

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and in the pool area. Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only.

Pets: Pets are allowed upon payment of a €50 supplement.

Damages: Any damage to the property or furnishings caused by the Guest will be charged at the cost of repair or replacement.

Unauthorized Guests: Hosting persons not included in the booking is strictly prohibited in any area of the property. Private parties are not permitted without prior authorization from the owner.

Use of the Swimming Pool

Use of the swimming pool is reserved exclusively for guests of the Property. Access to the pool implies acceptance of the following rules:

  • No Lifeguard: The pool is not supervised. Guests use the pool at their own risk.

  • Minors: Children under 14 years of age may access the pool only if accompanied and continuously supervised by a parent or responsible adult. The Property accepts no liability for accidents resulting from lack of supervision.

  • Hygiene Rules: Showering before entering the pool is mandatory. Use of the pool is prohibited in case of open wounds or infectious diseases.

Prohibitions:

  • Diving is strictly prohibited.

  • Running on the pool deck is prohibited (slippery surface).

  • Glass containers or glasses are not allowed in the pool area.

  • Animals are not allowed in the pool (unless otherwise specified).

  • Consumption of food or alcoholic beverages in the pool area is prohibited.

Liability: Management is not responsible for the loss of unattended personal belongings in the pool area, nor for injuries resulting from failure to comply with the above rules.

6. Force Majeure

The Property shall not be held liable for failure to provide services due to force majeure events (natural disasters, power outages, strikes, etc.).

7. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from this contract shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Brindisi.
